40X repeater

I have a beautiful/rare Remington 40X repeater that I am considering puting on an gun auction web site but thought I'd run it by ya'll first. I purchased this rifle NIB October, 2005 from a collector. The bolt had never even been put in the action. The wood could easily be considered presentation grade. The barrel is what I would call a "semi heavy" for lack of a better term. The rifle is flawless and the box is in pretty good condition with all the stuff (cloth gun case, paper work, even a leather sling was shipped with this rifle) still in plastic as it came from the factory. I am in the process of taking pictures and will send to any who are seriously interested once I have them. Asking price is $4500. I'll answer any questions I can if you'd like to call 318-355-7091. In 1971 I could have bought one of those rifles for $400,,but didn`t have the extra money so bought a 541s instead for $150,,guess I should have saved a little more huh..I`ve shot a few of them and they are sweet...
