The 1K, old Scenars went for $500 shipped. Those tough, old, Lapua, Scenar, 139-gr, 6.5mm bullets are worth their weight in gold, IMHO. Think about how much we spend to go to an away match. Tough ram bullets are a trivial cost when it comes to not ringing those rambunctious critters. The buyer knew of what I was posting; that is, get tough with ram bullets, or go home with a "ringing sound" in your ears. SMK's do that "ringing thing" more often than not. They are great for punching holes in paper, not so hot for slamming steel. And, the latest generation of Scenars are a might bit too thin in the jacket-thickness realm; what we need to slay heavy rams with; thick jackets, that is.
