Southern Nationals Daily update

I thought that I would attempt to give brief updates each day to get my post count up! I also welcome any comments good or bad. After all, if you cannot take it, do not dish it out!

Now for the Tuesday, March 20 update.

We have been getting in products daily and are preparing them to be given away as door prizes!

Robin also tells me that we are getting in registrations daily with several "new" or rookie competitors.

Thanks Mary. The programs will be mailed out by April 1 and the entry forms are online now at www.winnsborogunclub.com. The entire program has been posted there leo but some pages and pictures are missing. We safe working on that.

Just waiting on the Entry Form to print out now so I can send it in. The money is already considered spent. So many entry fees all around the same time and usually when I need to resupply ammo go figure. Looking forward to another fun match.

Mary will have to address any air rifle questions as Bill Motl, Pat Steiger and Mary run that event to allow Jerry and I plenty of time to get the smallbore match set up and ready. We only procure the prizes! We will again give away a Pyramid Air Rifle as a door prize at the air rifle match.

We have a running conversation on the air rifle questions fired at me going on now. I will up date anyone with responses as soon as we get them.

I wll probably wait until after the match in Arkansas next month to send in my entry. Still working out our squadding requests, and I've been told by several prople they expect me to go up in class by then.

At least I managed to get a hotel room.

Here is the update for Wednesday, March 21, 2012

Nothing new except we avoided a tornado this morning! Rained like two cows peeing on a flat rock! About 5 - 6 inches expected today.

I am not sure about how many motel rooms are booked as we got out of that business a long time ago. I am sure that there will be rooms available here as well as Rayville and Delhi. They are only about 20 minutes form the range.

All the tickets, forms and other items that Robin needs to prepare the Stat office have been printed. We just have to get the programs back from the printer and get them in the mail. We will have the labels on the envelope by the end of the week.

Can't wait to hear what Mary and the Air Rifle shooters have up their sleeves. If it involves Steiger, BEWARE!

Hey Ducky, there are serious conversations going on with BSPS in his motel room calling me at the chiropractors office...no telling what is going to happen.
Addicted, don't worry about what class you are in or about to be in, enter your current class, they will move you the day of the match if necessary.

I am a victim here. I have never done anything to anyone except support them. I can't believe you would insinuate that I would conspire to do anything nefarious to anyone. Ever. Motl is the one to fear. He hides behind the sweet old man facade. And while were talking about pranksters, we can see you and Jerry coming a mile away, Ducky. There is a certain 12 year old that lost a shoot off at the Texas state match who was seen receiving instructions to walk by the winner ( a 36 year old Massey) with tears streaming down his face. as far as the AirTunes match, it will be a well run fun match as always. Mary and Bill do a stupendous job. Thank you for all your work securing some great prizes.

I do believe that Pat the New Sand Bagger Steiger is a past recipient of the coveted Golden Cow Patty BS award that was so appropriately named in his memory! How can anyone believe his rants and raves? At least he has a classy daughter and that is why we allow him to attend! She is not only a sweet girl but can shoot really well! My money is on Elizabeth this year if she continues to have Mary as coach and spotter! I predict that PS willl fold like a cheap suit!
