2012 Nationals

Has anyone heard the dates for the 2012 levergun nationals? I've heard that it will be some time in mid to late July but no confirmed dates.

Heard that the decision will be at the committee meeting...Nov 5/6th time frame.

The Cowboy Rifle Silhouette Championships have always been held in Raton, NM and do not expect any change of venue any time soon.

For 2013 we are gonna try to get them here in sunny PA. It has been talked about,but we will see where it goes from there. Some of the executives with the NRA said we cant do it but we did all the figuring and we can handle that number of shooters. Just have to wait and see what happens.

Dan, Raton in the Juloy can still get in the 40's....high elevation.

Mary -

Hard to believe, but it actually was in the high 80s/low 90s a few times this year at Raton. STILL much better than the 110degree/50% + humidity we had in TX though!
