We Lost Another Brother

For you folks that haven't heard yet, the silhouette community lost another brother shooter and friend this past Thursday. Ted May of Atascadero, CA. This hurts like hell. He and I go way back to the early '80s in this game and I'll miss him terribly. The next time you hit the range for a match, please take a moment of silence for Ted and all the other fellow shooters that have passed on...and there's way too many to be sure.

I received the following email and am attaching it here for your information. If you can attend, please do.

"Most of you are now aware that our good friend and fellow silhouette shooter, Ted May, has passed away. Many of you are receiving information from other shooters, but I can't remember who I have sent the service information to.....and the day has changed .....here is the new information."

"Services will be held on Sunday, October 23 at the Chapel of the Roses Funeral and Crematorium, 3450 El Camino Real / Atascadero, Ca 93422 phone #805/466-1161. The services are scheduled for NOON and as I stated before there will be a TriTip and chicken Bar B Q to follow. If you would like to send a card of condolence Theresa's address is 6075 Del Rio Rd Atascadero, Ca 93422."

"Thank you, Jared for helping to get the info out to those I don't have contact info for. Hopefully you have Kyler and his dad.....and any of the other shooters from the Avenal/Coalinga area. Ray and Mary Karr was going to get in touch with Alan Hall and Scott and Tami....but please feel free to send out the message again. Let's not assume that someone else is going to handle it."
