9422 Silhouette Sights

Post by stumungus »

Hi there,

I have a 9422 Winchester I intend to shoot small-bore silhouette with, and would like some help with a correct sight combination please?

Does anybody know specific details or model numbers for a correct Lyman 17a front sight and a Williams dovetail mounted fully adjustable rear peep sight to fit?

I understand both come in high and low models.

Cheers,

With a range of models in both the front and rear sight from different companies it is sometimes confusing which combination is going to be the best option.

Some retailers will try to sell what they have on the shelf.

Fortunately we have forums on the internet with many friendly helpful members willing to assist those with less experience choose the right option, without trying to re-invent the wheel and waste money on products they don't need.

The sights have been ordered.

Thank you all, for the advice.
