Puppydawg,
He is a displaced SA (South African) in a liberal government country. I'd better shut up about such a fine beautiful collection of islands but I did do a bit of research in the public admin classes on various New Public Management techniques......WHEW, I'll refrain from going a public forum about that stuff.

Duckygumbo,
The shepherd chewed up the Shar-pei/shepherd cross while I was in Georgia at the states there. Had to put them both in quaruntine (sp!!) because the shepherd chewed on the Shar-pei/shepherd and the Shar-pei/shepherd chewed on the girl that was stupid enough to try to seperate them. Thank goodness the schnauzer was locked up at the time.

Duckgumbo,
I do not think the Golden Cow Pate award will clear the TSA inspection on flights so you might have to ship to the receipent with proper HAZMAT paperwork at a later date.
Sorry I can't figure out how to get the correct accent mark over the "e" in the Pate, it is 3:30 in the morning here and this computer is not working the way I want it to..

Puppydog,
The sharpies are not what you need to worry about.
Duckgumbo, I'll have to agree this puppy is in over his head, while he may be able to handle the German B. the Sharpie and even teach the vertically challenged manly schnauzer to use stilts to overcome his challenges with these two B's there is more in the garden. The slobering mastiff passed aways three years ago at the ripe old age of 11, followed closely by her back up of three old crotchety schnauzers in their late teens.
1) He would never be able to withstand the competition of me telling the Tolouse Gander that this Dawg taught the remaining vertically challenged schnauzer how to get some and he will become irrate over the thought of any other male getting some. This will cause him to become aggressive and leave serious bruises and the one Canadian goose will become upset that her "man" is disturbed, she already carries a chip on the wing over the fact that he pays attention to the other 5 ladies on the property. If he thinks that bringing in enough back up of canines will help he is sorley mistaken. Nothing causes harm to the goose flock that my CPA (current pelvic affiliation) doesn't take a shot at, and he has been known to take a Texas Heart shot at a 'dillo' digging under the dog kennel at 2 something in the morning, with a 9mm, while dressed in his finest birthday suit. Actually the first shot would have been no problem it was the third and fourth shots with much cussing in between that got the neighbors up. The neighbors house went up for sale the next day, and was occupied by new people within three weeks.
2) If the "dawg pack" does succeed in gaining some ground then there is always the one legged bantam hen that resides in the living room that adopts all youngsters that come in the house as her own. So the puppy would have to fall under her care and she is a fine sympathetic mother having lost a leg to a coon through 1/2 by3" wire. Thus pissing off the real mother of the place causing 9 traps to be set, capturing 3 coons, 2 possums and 2 rats and a squirrel. Never seen a squirrel move around at night except the flying kind but one was stupid enough to come that night.
And that doesn't get to the other collection of exotic birds, Indian game bantams with 3+ inch spurs, and the snakes.
Demanding Puppies do not survive well in this garden.

No wonder I do my best work at the wee hours of the morning, obviously you two are confused. Fido, a sharpie is what leaks in your pocket and ruins shirts, not to mention what it does in a washing machine. But then it does work well to blacken a sights on a pistol.
Limey,
I never knowingly eaten a Sharpie (the dog kind, Fido) but then there have been some interesting tasting "other" meats at the local chinese eat-a-thon. As far as keeping them for pets, they are not quite a relentless as a Border terrier when it comes to getting even in a fight but close. The reason the caretaker got chewed up was she managed to pull the shepherd off but the Sharpie kept coming back for more.
This paticular sharpie-shepherd cross had been hit by a car in front of work and came home with me for care, never claimed and has adopted the boy as her favorite person.
Cheers.

Dawg.
Then it should have two e's, then we'all would not be confused. Who the hell names a pen after a dog, or did the pen come first?
Fishpie, Cottagepie, Chickenpie, Shepherdspie, gamepie, Ham&eggpie, man I could go on all day...LOL
Berrol now there is a good name for a marker.
