Hardscrabble, Suede in front, smooth in the back dark enough color to hide dirt it will collect in the years ahead.

Re: Heaviest vest.....
You have made my mind wander. Since they're is no restriction on vest weight I wonder how some pockets nicely balanced with lead or something of substance would feel when shooting. A sturdier platform by any chance? And I'm not just talking about the pockets on the vest I'm talking about like a ring, maybe 15-20lbs???

Concentrate on shot execution and learn not to depend on gear or gimmicks for performance because on the long run if you do not have it together in your head nothing is going to help you at the matches. If anything I will recommend mental management training, lots of books, tapes and self help stuff in the Internet. I recommend you look up Lanny Basham.CZforlife wrote:You have made my mind wander. Ok, will do, I just like fooling around with gizmo's and gadgets. I'm an engineer student.

I'm an engineer, too, so I see where the temptation comes from. If you're wanting to dig into the technical aspects of the sport, start researching the mechanics of the rifle (what affects accuracy, locktime, consistent trigger release/weight,etc) and the mechanics of the body's ability to hold a rifle steady (erect head versus more cheek weld, wider/narrower stance versus higher/lower placement of the stock on the shoulder, glucose levels, eye fatigue, etc). That will help you separate anecdotes and actual facts.

I did witness Huey shoot 8 chickens and 8 pigs today, although he had a cement block in each pocket. And how about Boning up on your spelling while you're doing all this research?

Oh No...not another I can't spell engineer with no (not so common) common sense. Lone Ringer is correct Baby Huey, you need to work on the mental game and the basics, yes the technical stuff is interesting but even from the bench if your mind isn't there then you've lost the match.

Guys I really do work on the mental aspect. Today alone I shot 8/10 on chicks and pigs. I was on fire this morning
