Deadline for 2011 Southern Nationals Update

To get the squadding requests you want, entries to the 2011 Southern Nationals must be postmarked before May 15, 2011. Just 5 days to go until that deadline.

Talked to Match Director Duckgumbo today. Slots are filling up fast. Promises to be another big one this year. Shot the Monthly there this past Saturday. Food was great. Had a good Hunter score for me going into Rams but the wind on Bank 6 Rams whipped me bad.

Next Match before the big one is Saturday May 28, 2011 (Memorial Weekend) if anybody in that area needs to buy a 2011 book and classify.

Sad to say but Government subsidized Housing is working its way toward Winnsboro Gun Club. The Southern Nationals will not last forever. Government Housing residents do not like Rifle Ranges.

I encourage everyone to attend especially if you have not made this Match before while it is still in existence.

Bobby I have never been known as one the could give a shit about what any Government Assistance Leech thinks or cares. Unless they are on assistance for being wounded military vets they shouldn't even be allowed to vote much less be housed for free! Besides since when does government housing not include the shooting sports, sure it is not competitive shooting but still they always seem to find some trigger time.

Due to lack of government assistance The Commander Kitty and myself are offically going to host a junior seminar at the Southern Nationals on Friday afternoon. Time is about the only thing firmed up so far, John and I are working on details and typical government plans for the event and per usual goverment press leaks (uhmmmm....releases) details will be forthcoming.

We will have fun and maybe learn a thing or two. Mary and I have talked about not limiting it to junior shooters, and I think that's a good idea. Open it up to anyone who works with junior shooters, would like to work with junior shooters, or even newer shooters, those trying to climb the ladder to the next class above them, whatever that might be and would like to learn a few fundamentals that can only improve their game. Have a Q&A session at the close, do evaluations of shooters mechanics.......Who knows, it might give that shooter the extra they need to pick up a class win and some of those cool prizes that winners get.....Would like to have an idea how many folks we are looking at.....Check in here if you plan to attend the FREE seminar...
