New guy in N. Il

Howdy,
Looks like I found a friendly bunch to hang out with.
I was interested in building a .22 that could do 1" at 100 yards so I started doing some research. That led me to silhouette shooting. This looks like it is right up my ally, but there doesn't seem to be anywhere to shoot in my neck of the woods. Looks like I'll have to find a club and start one.

They used to shoot smallbore silhouette at Tri county gun club at Polo, Il; Sycamor sportsmens at Sycamore, Il; Chillicothe, Il; and Beloit, Wi.
Beloit was the last I knew was shooting. The others had the targets and all that was needed. I may be able to add some more info when I find it in my old match stuff. You might dig around on the internet and see what you can find.

I just discovered Sycamore yesterday, but they have no website. I'll give them a call. I found the Beloit club, but didn't see any info that was less than 2 years current. I'll keep looking. Thanks for the heads up, I feel all dressed up with nowhere to go.
