Jim, I lived in AZ since 1997 until about a year ago. I only recently joined "Team Colorado". I kick myself in the ass every day for not getting out there and shooting silhouette with you guys when lived in AZ. I don't know what my problem was. Even bought a set of SB animals to shoot on my own. Not sure what took me so long to get off my butt and go for it.

Watch out for Bonner, he is coming for steel.

I am coming down for a different kind of steel. My Cadillac restoration is almost done and I gotta come down and inspect the old girl. Then she is off to the interior shop!

Wow, nice CaddyYak. The last one I saw like that was driven by a guy with a gold front tooth and 3 fake Rolex's on one wrist/arm. Can't wait to see that baby bombing down the dirt road out to CRC trailing a mile long plume of dust.

That $8,000.00 paint job will never see the miles of gravel road leading up to CRC. Nope... no way. I drove that car everyday for 3 years, it'll definitely be a fair-weather car once this restoration is complete.

Although, I could carpool 6 to 8 shooters and all their gear! Maybe I should build a gun vault in the trunk!

It is a 1961 Eldorado Biarritz convertible. There were only 1450 of them made that year, and an estimated 247 of them left "on the road". Mine has been in "restoration" for a little over 4 years now. It is remaining mostly stock other than paint color. Still has the vacuum tube radio. Love it.

I love the 1960 as well. No other car more resembles an aircraft fuselage.

Mary, I would like that. I have not shot silhouette for a long time but the club I am a member of here in Rio Rancho is building a smallbore silhouette range and they have enlisted my help in getting something started. I miss those matches out at Aurora with Dave, Bob, Kevin and the guys. I will let you all know when we get something started.
