help need for weaver t24

Hi, newbie here. How do you increase the eye relief on a Weaver T24? I measure it best as I can and it's about 3 in from my eye.
I read the instruction and the only thing it said was to make it as far as possible.

Raul, I do not think that you can increase the eye relief on a scope because it is what it is. What you can do to maximize the eye relief is to put the scope on the rifle you are going to use without tightening the rings and move it forward and backwards until you get the full view. Make sure you are wearing the clothing you use for shooting including shooting vest. You do what I suggest and you will realize what I am talking about. I suggest you move the scope all the way forward and then it bring back to your eye little by little until you see the full view or get maximum eye relief and you should be good to go. The reason they are telling you to move it as far as possible is because on hard hitting HP rifles if you do not do that the scope can give you a nasty cut on your eyebrow. On SB rifles that is not as problem but its always good to set up the scope correctly on your rifle. Hope this helps you. Tony Tello
