A Rockin' Good Time at the SB Nationals!
Despite my piss-poor performance, I had a thoroughly great time at this year's SB Nationals and would like to pass along my thanks to those who made it possible:
To my shooting partner Frank: Even with a blown transmission followed up by a bum trigger, you hung in there and kept a great sense of humor!!! We'll get 'em next year buddy. In the meantime, let's get that trigger squared away Marine! A new truck couldn't hurt either!
To Bob S. Thanks for lining up the accomodations. It was truly a shame you were sidelined and eventually forced to withdraw because of your back. You missed some good shooting! Get well soon.
To Mark and Michelle and all those at the Ridgway Club: Once again your time, effort, hard work, and dedication resulted in a first-class match. You all have a way of making everyone feel relaxed and at home. The lunches are a big plus as was the opening night chicken Bar-B-Q. Anyone who went away unhappy only have themselves to blame.
To Jerry and Judy: Thanks for the Saturday night dinner invitation. A better steak dinner would be hard to find. And as for Judy's "Apple Dew Drops," if God made anything better, he kept it for himself!
To Mary, a/k/a Innocent: It was a pleasure to meet you and finally put a face to the name. Thanks for the tutorial on "small ball, large ball." As you can see, there is alot I don't know about this sport.
To Woody: It's always great to meet a colleague! I enjoyed talking shop even though there were probably more interesting things to discuss. Have a safe trip home.
To Tom: It was a pleasure spotting for you. I hope I didn't cost you too many hits and thanks once more for that "trpohy."
That's all for now, God willing, we'll do it again next year!!!

Great to meet you, and glad you enjoyed yourself. Ridgway always puts on a great match, thanks to Mark and Michelle and all the others that help out. I enjoyed it despite having to leave before I could shoot the HP.
Thanks also to Dave Thatcher for picking up spotting for me, maybe next time I can shoot as good as you were spotting!
