Seattle Rifle&Pistol Match tomorrow, no more until November

Post by Jason »

Just a quick reminder that we are having our regular "third Sunday of the month" smallbore and hunter rifle silhouette matches tomorrow. We won't be having one next month due to hosting the pistol cartridge cowboy rifle champshionship and won't be having the matches in September and October due to hosting hunter sight-in on the weekends during those month. Everyone come out tomorrow to get your last chance at the beautifully groomed range and hardly ever any wind for smallbore rifle matchs for months. Then bring your cowboy guns out next month for the smallbore and pistol cartridge cowboy rifle championships (see the cowboy forum for more info).

As usual for all of our matches, registration starts at 8:30 and sight-in starts at 9:30. The match will start around 10:00 or so.

Go here to our website for more information, calendar, and directions.

Thanks,

Jason

Forgot to update this. Conditions were really good with only a little wind, but someone everyone shot well below average. Everyone except Leroy (southpaw), that is. He was on fire and shot some great scores, including tying for match winner in the standard rifle match and only losing the shootoff on the last turkey of the bank. I think he tied for runner-up to match winner in the hunter rifle match and also hung on in the shootoff until the last turkey. Congrats to him on a whole day of wonderful shooting and giving the rest of us incentive to practice harder over this break so we can compete with him when we start the matches back up in November. :ymapplause: ^:)^ \m/
