Jewell Trigger for Sako P94S FOUND
Jewell stopped making them a few years back. If you've got a Jewell trigger laying around for a P94S I'd pay good money and give it a nice home.
Thanks

Re: WTB Jewell Trigger for Sako P94S
Still looking, but Kurt proposed an alternative. He no longer carries the Jewell trigger for Sako (not enough demand), but he WILL convert a Jewell trigger for Remington to fit the Finnfire. These are readily available for less than $200 and Kurt charges $110 for the conversion. Minor trigger guard modification and possibly minor stock inlet depending on the safety location by trigger model. If no one can help me find a used original, I'll probably take him up on the conversion.

Re: WTB Jewell Trigger for Sako P94S
Steve,
There is a reason that Jewell quit making the trigger for the Sako. It was a modified Remington trigger with an aluminum hanger. I had one and the hanger did not hold up. I would take Kurt up on the conversion if he uses a steel hanger. The trigger on the Finnfire only mounts with a single screw and the aluminum has to much flex. I had an original Jewell on my Sako and it worked for a while and then just would not cock. Called Jewell and all they offered was to give my money back. I sent the action with the trigger to Bill Meyers and he made a steel hanger for the trigger. I never had another problem after he fitted it to my action.
If you find an origional trigger it will end up costing you about as much as the converted trigger.
Good luck, Paul Freeman
