My Son was Match Winner

Post by cjamen »

Well, my boy (13years old) did very well in the local match in LeRoy, IL this past weekend. It was a tough day of shooting with the wind but he was the overall match winner with a score of 19. Second place was a 14. I wanted him to get some practice in the Hunter rifle class as he's only not shot our little Ruger one time before and I was amazed at how well he really did, especially in the wind. Plus, it does not even have a "real" target scope on it. ha. Anway, wanted to share with all of you as I'm really proud of my son.

Congrats, sounds like you have a lot of potential there. Hang in there and keep his interest in you, and his interest in shooting will follow. First things first. "a man who hunts with his son, doesn't have to hunt his son!" Good luck, david
