Season is beginning in Chattanooga
Newsflash----
The Georgia Smallbore Rifle Silhouette State Championships will be held in Brunswick on the 17th & 18th of this month. Please try to attend these if you can.
In the unlikely event you can’t make it to Brunswick, remember; the first match of Smallbore Rifle Silhouette for 2010 will be held in Chattanooga (Harrison, Tennessee) at the Chattanooga Rifle Club on Saturday the 17th (yea-the same Saturday).
Can’t make the Georgia State Championships? Your attendance at the Chattanooga match is mandatory for all within 300 miles driving distance. The match fees are cheeep! The range is beautiful! The camaraderie is superb! They have running water and a roof over your head! The Match Directors are beloved and amiable! You didn’t have anything else to do that day anyhow, since you are not going to Brunswick, and you gotta go shootin’ somewhere.
Email: [email protected] and receive a program with all the stuff for the rest of the year that you may need to know to get you there (and back). As an added bonus at no extra charge, in this very same email, you will also receive a copy of the program for the Tennessee Smallbore Rifle Silhouette Championships to be held on Saturday, 21 August 2010.
For those coming from the east on US64, the road through the gorge is due to re-open on Friday the 16th. Better check it before committing that morning...
Come on down ya’ll.

Mr. Gator, What time would you like for me to arrive so you can let me in your maximum security gate?
It's only 115 miles from the house, so it's not that bad at all. Nice little road trip.

I am usually on the property before 11 am. Assuming the road is open again through the gorge that has been closed since last November due to a rock slide. Just give a call when you get to the gate and someone will come and let you in.
It is 100 miles for me from home to the range gate. Little day trip....
