Rifles all ready for competition

I finally received my Leupold 6.5-20 efr with custom 1/2min dot and CPC reticle. I mounted it as soon as UPS left the drive. I mounted it in a set of Marvin Pearson's rings. Thank you Mr. Pearson. They are very nice. I'm looking forward to sighting it in on Sunday. Really can't wait to shoot it in Chattanooga on April 17th. First real match. Here's a few picture from today.

Trent, the wind, the mirage, the lighting, adjustment ring was loose where the set screw backed out, too much talking on the line, too loud of talking on the line, my spotter called the shots wrong....would you like more?

Looking Good !! Not that I'm doubting Marvin but those rings look awful high. Have you checked the dimension 2.00 inches for Std and 1.50 inches for Hunter.

I went and measured one more time. It is very close to 1.5" from the receiver to the bottom of the scope tube. I hope it's right. Here are the specs he sent me.

I would probably do just as well with a sling shot. Out of all my toys. I've shot this rifle in the last month more than I have 80% of my rifles in their lifetime. So I figure it's well worth the investment. Out of most sports silhouette is alot cheaper to get started in. When I got into cowboy action shooting 15+ years ago. That was expensive.

I'm looking forward to shooting with the new reticle. My last match I couldn't find the dot in my weaver against a grassy backstop. I will go with that excuse for that match.

That set up looks great Jason. My 1712 was shipped to me today, can't wait for it to get here. Good luck in Chattanooga, that new scope should make a world of difference compared to the fine reticle in your other scope. You can't hit anything if you can't see the cross hairs.

I wish yall's shoot wasn't on the same day. I would love to come up and shoot with you also.

I know my head position feels alot better with the taller mounts.
