Kitty, I hate that kid. Bone to bone contact? Thin? Back bent? Sheesh.

Re: New to silhouette
The best piece of advise someone gave me was to put a small round target out at 40 or 50yds and dry fire at it 10 to 15 min a day. it works, within a week I was nolonger "leading the band" with the barrel. within two weeks I had learned to step up corectly so that I was already aiming at the target and not swiveling my body to get on target.I had learned how long [ or short] I could hold my breath. I had also learned a couple of things about triger control. when I first started I was not cocking the bolt but was just taping the trigger when I had a good sight picture. the next trip to the range showed a flaw in this idea. I set up my targets, settled into my best stance, and the first three shots went wild into the berm. I had trained my finger to pull on the uncocked bolt and it met no resistance till it hit the trigger guard. now with a live round I was having to relearn where the trigger would fire. now all my practice is done with an empty as a snapcap. but its like practicing your golf swing, 15min a day will do wonders for your game. the other thing that really helped me was to put taller rings on my rifle. my hunting guns had scopes set as low to the action as I could get. but standing I couldnt really get the right sight picture till I went to an extra high see through set of rings. seemed odd at first but its very comfortable to shoot. Im still new to this but its a great family sport. #57

Somethings just wrong about being able to get in that position.... once there on me something would surely break or get stuck.
