I like that tactical rimfire! I wonder if it would make weight. Would it even be legal in hunter class? If these are as accurate (and I don't know why they wouldn't be) as other Savage's I've shot, I'm getting one.

Sorry GW - it's the Mark II TRR and there's no taper on the barrel and it weighs 7.8 lbs out of the box.

savage finally has them on their website, i think they are going to be a little pricey as far as no real mechanical mods done for accuracy, mostly for looks.
they are in the 500.00 range, might as well go CZ and get what i believe to be a more accurate rifle.

I don't care for the rail on the TRR. The TR is pretty tempting though. It would be fun to play with for sure.
