Looking for bling for my SAKO
I am looking for a set of quality rings to fit a SAKO Range (94S action). I have a set of BKL's but I'm wanting something better. The reciver is grooved for 11mm rings per the spec sheet.
I would also like to change the bolt handle out with one that has a larger knob, preferably one that is threaded to take Anschutz screw on knobs as I have a few of these.
Also a Jewell trigger.
A new "baby" has just arrived in the house, a SAKO Range.
Anyone with a source.
Thanks in advance

I don't know about the rings, but I acquired a Jackson trigger for my Finnfire from Evelio (the Jewells were discontinued over 8 years ago) and like the way it works. It took a little tweaking, but once I got it adejusted to my liking, I've never looked back.
Regards,

Is that jackson a two stage? I am building a 6.5 x 47L using a Lawton 700 action. It doesn't come with the little hang down thing.

Check with Evelio Jerry... I believe there is a screw on adapter that the trigger set will mount to for that configuration.Jerry G wrote:Is that jackson a two stage? I am building a 6.5 x 47L using a Lawton 700 action. It doesn't come with the little hang down thing.

If you have a Lawton 7500 action, it should have a trigger hanger in which you can mount any Rem. 700 compatible trigger. The reason for the trigger hanger, is to be able to drop the whole trigger assembly when the action is glued in. If yours don't have the hanger, it should have two cross holes for the conventional pinned in Rem. trigger clones.

Isn't it interesting how a post can be hijacked and end up something totally different that the original post?

George, I hate to agree with you, looks like every thread related to shooting ends up being highjack by the same 3 or 4 individuals that turns them into personal BS. If this continues, it won't be long before S.C. will be useless to the Silhouette shooters looking for info. related to this sport.

Re: Looking for bling for my SAKO
George look into Warne 7.3 22 rings (steel) and while made to fit both 11mm and 3/8's dovetails they fit best on 11mm's such as your Sako. Nice and simple, I used them with a Weaver V24 on my Anschutz 1710 until just recently when I went to a 30mm scope.

I'm also told that Burris now offers their Signature rings with two side plates to fit 11mm and 3/8's but I have no personal experience with them.

Good one malinois. Mind if I use it later?
So I guess that is settled. Mary gets to take care of crackers at the CO state shoot. You better show up.
