Evelio,

Would the 1702 stock be a drop in for the 1712 action/barrel? I thought it was a barrel lug configuration. I guess it would have the same two action screws though. You would know better than me.

Let me know how much you want. I have a lead on another and a couple of guys are going to be asking around in New Mexico for me next week.
I am just looking for something to get me by for awhile. I would also need the trigger guard and screws. Thanks

The 1702, 1710, 1712 they all use the same actions, same bolts and same stocks, the only difference is that the newer 1712 have a two stage trigger versus the 1702, 1710, and older 1712, that use a single stage. The triggers can be exchange among each other with no modification, or the single stage can be converted to a two stage, by replacing the trigger lever.
Actually when Anchutz came up with the Mach 2, all they did was to take the existing 1712,1710 action and put a barrel chambered for the Mach 2 cartridge, which for unknown reasons, never really got much interest. I guest you just can't beat a 22 LR, specially the availability of all kinds of ammo. and price, compared to the Mach 2.
Evelio.
P.S. I will rebarrel 2 of the 1702 with pulled new 1712 or 54.18 barrels, and take to Raton for sale.
