Arroyo Club 2009 Southern Nationals Winnsboro

Just when I thought the Southern Nationals could not get any better, I found page 115 in the 2009 Southern Nationals Program. The Arroyo Gun Club from El Paso will be providing the meal for Sunday Night. In 2008 I watched, smelled and salivated from Wednesday to Sunday just wishing that I knew these guys well enough to sit down and eat a meal with them. In Mississippi talk we would say: "They flung a craving on me!". In other words they made me very hungry. Lets just put it this way, they know how to cook. I have been dreaming, grilling and smoking every since that 2008 Match when I experienced those wonderful aromas coming from their area but I have not been able to cook at home what I saw the Arroyo Gun Club cook at Winnsboro.

Now the dream will become reality on Sunday June 7, 2009.
