Oh yeah - nothing suspicious about the four of us traveling together... Five if I bring Vic.

Here we go....
As I am yet a young man it may surprise you to know that even I remember F Troop from the 1970s in Australia. I can recall watching it on a black & white TV. I also recall wondering how on earth these clowns ever got the better of the Indian tribes. I also wondered why the natives couldn't shoot as thier arrows always ended up in one of the troops hats. My grasp of sitcom at such a tender age obviously wasn't the best.
As to the idea of establishing a "down-under" F Troop, I think your all a little touched, but by what I can't begin to imagine. As a new addition to the frivolity fraternity, (the Brotherhood) I have an inkling of the behaviour and goings on of F Troop in full flight. However there does not seem to be any mention of $$ won on targets. This worries me greatly as the dosh is one of the few "good" reasons to be involved, okay I'll rephrase that, the only good reason. (There simply is nothing better than taking a few coins off an angry & particularly ugly mob and getting away with it, verbal abuse aside.) For the life of me I can't see how you lot (F Troop) could be more depraved than the above mentioned pack of knuckle draggers (Ramslammers) on the southern side of the pond. Even discounting physical appearance I still can't see it. Which only leaves me wondering is it a step up to F Troop or a further lowering of my rather crumbling standards to become entwined in more slanderous acts with another party.
Changing the subject I can't believe how much time some of you buggers must have on your hands, get out of the house, go and do something useful instead of clogging up cyberspace!
Just to piss Juddy off, count me in boys & girls.
Regards to all
Outback Mick

What have I done?
I suppose now you'll all tell me there is some ridiculous rite of passage ceremony to go through with. Though I should warn you standing next to the Ex Pom in 40+ degree heat should entitle the said victim to some sort of a reprieve. Just having to be at the same shoot as any of the Ramslammers should also come into consideration. Seriously how much can a Koala bear?
You lot had better send me a list of the by-laws of your good association as I would hate to overly offend all & sundry at such an early stage.
If/when we make it to Whittington this year I'm guessing I'm going to have to be very very careful.
I just knew this Steel Chickens idea would go bad..... pretty much like a phonecall/email from our chairman.
Regards,
Outback Mick

Now Mick, first welcome to the troop. Second, some of us are employed, so we have to release some of that pent up frustration for dealing with big O lovers all day, who show up late, leave early to make up for it and generally cause a problem where ever they set foot, mouth or otherwise. Beside remember that a number of these posters are now dealing with ice storms...etc so cabin fever is really setting in, after all you are in summer now.
I think you will handle yourself well at Whittington and not cause the slightest embarassment to the F Troop, but remember the first indian to introduce yourself to and stay in his face is named Greg C, the feathers in his cap are already full of bullet holes so a few more will not hurt.

Bob259...I'm Innocent. Besides, he shakes his head and says something about not being able to deal with me every time I go into his trailer...don't know if it has to do with the certified letter to C Heston in pursuit of a trophy after a Raton national (that after 5 certified letters to the chain of command at the time), or the Ridgway match the certain a ABQ resident still owes me dinner over when I, um well lets say missed picking up my trohy but instead went for the announcer.
All I was doing was letting Outback Mick know that it is expected for F-troopers to stand up for what is right in Raton.
