Does any of you shoot with blinders on?

Ive seen pics of some with blinders atached to there hats, and some atached to there glasses. both of these bothered me. Im trying to eliminate the double vision I get after aiming for more than just a short time. I had never noticed this before while hunting or informal target shooting, but I did not stay on the scope as long. I did find that I could atache a thin piece of black foam around the scope tube just behind the rear mount that blocks my left eyes vision. the only down side is it takes a little longer to find my target. are there any rules against it being atached that way? or a better way? I had even thought of trying a pr of flip down sunglasses with the left eye blacked out. any ideas? #57
