Hey Byron, a little cold up there? I can't legally comment on Tbone's insurance,
but rest assured it is being well spent.
There should even be enough left to commission that statue he always wanted and so richly deserves.

And thanks Ahmed, we served 29, a new record. I almost thought it
was Thanksgiving, the way you were knocking those turkeys down.

I am getting very comfortable with evelios handy work....I can only imagine things will get better once I can see the targets better with that 30x leupold..plus the added practice with good friends sure helps too.

No, now it turned warm for here 54F, bad news is that we will be flooding by this afternoon in the low lands. Warm rains from the South are melting all the snow we got the last two weeks. Winds were in the 60mph range most of last night and down to 35mph this morning.

P.S. Check the will, I thought T-Bone was going to leave me all his Jimmy Buffet stuff.

As a sad postscript to this fading thread, I would like to remind everyone that our dear departed friend Tbone would have been 51 years old tomorrow, Jan. 9.
He shared the same birthday as such other great americans like Richard Milhous Nixon and his favorite Packer, Bart Starr.
Although he pissed off almost everyone he ever met, he left behind a few well paid for friends, and a pile of bad debts.
Let's all raise our plastic cups of Pabst, here's to you Tbone.

Yep... Here's to you Tbone. It will be a sad day tomorrow, knowing that Tbone won't be here to enjoy that special day. True, he did piss off many people, but he had many who loved him too. Among those were his devoted fans at the famed Hotel Fountainbleau Tropigala...well, mainly the bandleader, ML Money. At least that's what he liked to be called. He and Tbone used to hang together like brothers...they used to spend every moment between sets hanging out in back...or under the stage in the basement...they always seemed to be talking business...and yet they still had so much energy. I'll tell you, there was never heard a better version of Blue Moon! Come to think of it, that's about the time Tbone started practicing his trick shooting...like Annie Oakley shooting backwards with a mirror. He was very talented like that. He used to attribute his abilities to a large cheese intake. However, after many late nights and unusual escapades with all those dancing girls (they were dancing girls at Centro Espanol, right?) his career as a celebrated entertainer waned and Tbone fell into obscurity. That is, of course, until his meteoric rise into silhouette shooter celebrity...and we all know the rest of the story! Well, it's been 20 years since those early days of glory...and I thought 31 was old then! I can only hope that you steered Hambone in the right direction. You will be missed, but I'm sure that ML Money will throw back a few in your memory.

Thanks Mud, for those off key purple hazed recollections. Although I can't remember anything nice Tbone had to say about you,
I do know he lumped your shooting and your trombone playing into the same category.

It has been a number of years, and if your memory is like that of Richard Milhous, then I will defer to some of the recorded video live at the Fountainbleau. It's pretty good...Blue Moon with a disco beat...BTW, always really up-tempo (why was that?)...plus the girls loved Tbone's white sequined and baby blue airbrushed polyester Elvis style jump suit complete with bell bottoms. You know, except for some of those blank spots on the tape, it could be marketable. Did you have anything to do with that Hambone? But this is supposed to be a shooting thread, so... As good a shooter as Tbone was, I think ML Money could outperform him. And seeing as how we were in a Miami club, and there was always a loud show going on above us (we took breaks in the basement underneath the stage), ML Money and Tbone got to arguing who was better. Now, this was right after one of their usual private discussions out back...I do remember that they seemed a little anxious upon returning. Now ML Money knew that Tbone was a great trick shooter, known throughout Hialeah for for his double swiss colby and mirror routine. This bothered ML to no end, so he challenged Tbone to a match...a trick shooting match right in the basement of the club! The challenge was to shoot the trombone player's shoe which was located at twenty five yards distance BUT around a curved 90 degree hallway...some trick shot! To make it even more interesting, the trombone player had to be wearing the shoe! Well, to make a long story short, Tbone lost that bet to ML Money...and the trombone player beat ML Money senseless and then took his flugelhorn so that he could never play Blue Moon again. Tbone was devastated by the loss, and the loss of his previously good freind Mudfish to boot. In an effort to compensate for his crushed ego, Tbone retired as a recluse in an odd community populated by semi-transients and reclusive dentists and insisted on criticizing almost everything Latin and American. Upon his death though, Tbone revealed in his diary (yes, he had a diary...I know, a little strange for a guy) that some of his best times were in the Fountainbleau Tropigala playing with his good friend Mudfish. So, I think Hambone, that when you heard Tbone talk of lumping Mud's shooting and trombone playing in the same category, that he was referring to the lump in the trombone player's foot after the shot.
