Excerpt from OFGC broadcast email to members
Follows is an excerpt from an email sent to our gun club membership by our self appointed public spokesman Bruce Bethel....He's an IPSC pistol shooter...It's always good to see one of our own taking the time to learn more about the other shooting disciplines that share our facilities....Wonder how many deer hunters shoot deer with AR type rifles with open sights at ranges from 200 yards to 600 yards????...And it's good to know that silhouette shooting does improve our "plinking" skills....
For the deer hunters amongst us, nothing will help bag that trophy next fall like monthly practice with CMP. If you quarry of choice has wings, Sporting Clays will guarantee a full limit every trip to the fields. Having a handgun for protection is great, but learning to use it by second nature against a threat is what Practical Pistol is all about. If plinking is your game, you should try out the various Silhouette programs. If your yearning is to re-live the days of gunfighters and saloon shoot-outs, saddle up for Cowboy Action.
Feel free to follow the link OFGC.orrg and look browse our newsletter...If you are really bored and have nothing better to do..

You picked up that, huh?...Him and the guy that runs the sporting clays are world class yo-yo's .....Super-egos and not enough half a brain between them...The guy that wrote the broadcast email is a local attorney, so he should be educated enough to not write about whet he has no clue about....But as you can see, that doesn't stop him.he sure sounds like a sharp pencil.......NOT

Hey they put something out there..can't say that they have ever tried it but that is typical of a lot of the 'editors'.
Trying to get them involved is usless, just try to feed them info such that they will put something out there that might interest others.

You're right, Innocent, I am bored...been cooped up too long....BB the "plinking" comment was probably Bethel getting in a dig at me...You know the bad blood between he and I.....Any chance he get to push a button he pushes it...He's about one button short of an ass whipping....Opps...can I say "ass" on this side of the berm???...I meant butt whipping....there, fixed it.

Our newsletter is a perfect example of "No Child Left Behind" going horribly wrong....You know, even back when I was in high school we had a "No Child Left Behind" program.....Didn't mean you graduated, but when you flunked everything you could take at least twice and there were no more courses to take you couldn't come back to school...To my knowledge no one from the class of 75 is still attending Charleston High School in Charleston Arkansas....See, the program works..
