Midway has the fine duplex Leupold 6.5-20EFR on sale for $530. I've only bought them cheaper second hand. The sale is on until 12-31.

Sounds good.
That's a good price for sure. What does it cost to have a dot reticle put in one of these scopes?

Re: Sounds good.
$90 plus shipping. Again, George may be able to save you some. My first thought was "Uh Oh - Who's in trouble here?". On second thought, though, I remembered that right now most businesses are trying to reduce debt and build cash, not panic selling.Jetmugg wrote:That's a good price for sure. Just looked at Midway today and saw the same thing... My supplier is all out of the Discontinuied VX-iii models, waiting on Leupold to start shipping the new VX-3 models.
Dots are $60 + shipping to Leupold (Return shipping is free - e-mail me if you get a different story, I'll help you out)
So that would make a EFR $590+ shipping x2 (about $15 each way with insurance) = $620 ... good deal... I was selling them while they lasted for $625 delivered w/ the dot installed...
I will look at my other suppliers on Monday and see if I can get any more... E-mail me if you need a scope... Chances are I'm not far off... Midway's 'Sale' was $140 off... I sell them for $650 even when not on sale ... that's about $110 off of Midway's everyday pricing...
Thanks for the name drop,

Great information George! I am glad to hear that it's just Leupold clearing inventory before a new model roll out! My cost for the reticle change was based on what Leupold is charging in the custom shop calculator on their website, and it's good to know the cost is less.
Which leads to the question of what theyre planning for the VX3???
