Question about use of single shot guns

Question about use of single shot guns

Are single shot guns used in silhouette used in this sport? It seems that there is plenty of time, as far as putting the shot down range. Any imput??

Yes. Rule 3.2.1(a) to be precise - "the rifle may be a single-loading rifle".

Only if they come as single shot rifles from the factory, like for example a single shot Rem 40X or XP 100 but you can't make a single shot out of a Remington Mod 700, Win Mod 70, etc. if they started as repeaters.

if im not mistaken, only in hunter class?
I do my best not to think i know it all, but i do know i know half of what i think i know now, so if i mess something up, cant i get an alibi?

Of course, rule3.2.1 pertains to Smallbore Hunting Silhouette Rifle but HP Hunting rifles can also be single shots if using a single action to build them.
