My feet are tired and will be for several days. My head just quit hurting. My eyes are still slightly red and my vision is blurred, but this weekend I plan to begin gathering roadkill for the next Southern Nationals. To everyone who participateed I can only say thanks. I can't imagine another group so large, and so competitive with the amount of genuine warmth that this group exudes. There ain't another event like the Southern Nationals, and if it weren't for the great participants, I'll be damned if I would be bothered with it. Thanks for a good time.
We ain't always right! Thank God we don't have to be.

Well, there you are. Someone mentioned a man from Georgia and I didn't trust my memory. Sorry, Cathy.

Well we must have had something other than the shooting on our minds! What a great time.

I'm sorry I don't have the stats in hand to pass along!

A good amount of the shooters from the Georgia, North Carolina area will be in Ridgway for Nationals. In fact my Wife and I, along with Shaver will be there next weekend for the Sierra Classic Highpower match and back in 3 weeks for both Nationals. Great bunch up there also. The biggest problem fer us Southerners is the lack of grits but their home fries are passable. Good cooking at the match and lots of "local brew". Biggest problem is determining if you want to buy the brew in brown or green bottles. Not too big a deal however, since the stuff is not pasteurized and has to be used in a day or so anyhow

Hey Gator,
Some of us non transplanted Florida natives will be there too. And the brew should come from a clear bottle!!

Any chance you are confusing "brew" and "spirits"?

Kudos to David and crew of the Winnsboro Gun Club for putting on
a great match. Gets better every year.

Never have I shot so poorly and still had fun.
It was obvious that I was out classed in the grudge match between
me and Kessey, therefore I am imbarking on a rigorous training
program in anticipation of a rematch next year.

All suggestions on sling shot training techniques will be appreciated.
