Coach Kitty
Amen to the re-reading part, Coach. As often happens, I already had the answers to this question, but had forgotten them or just not put them together in the right sequence.

'Annie is a collection of parts - some bought, some donated, and some resurrected - just like the knowledge and skills to shoot well. I've been surprised at how well she shoots just like the 28 took me completely by surprise. Jim had to add it twice to convince me, but as Kenny Rogers says "never count your money while you're sittin' at the table" because there are are other things you need to concentrate on.

Thanks to all!

This is my first leg into AAA and I very much appreciate everyone's help.
Bear, Conrgratultions on the personal best!!!

However, I'd be VERY careful about anything with the word Kitty and a story to tell in it.. Best left unsaid, Don't ask, don't tell

Another thank you is due to board members: With the help of a spotter I shot a Hunter class personal best 27, for a AAA leg in that class. Earlier that day I shot a 21 in Standard with the same gun but without a spotter. Usually I feel some fatigue by the second match and make a lower score, so apparently a spotter is the difference between AA and AAA scores for me, so this really is a team.

Again, thanks to everyone for their help. Now, back to our regularly scheduled harassment!

I prefer to think of it as pampering.

BB,
it's amazing what a little pampering/bribery will get you. Especially if they are a good spotter.

There are three that work well with me, and I really hope to get partnered with one of them at Benton. With more practice I may be less dependent, but right now they make a huge difference.

Commander Kitty,
Don't you think you are selling yourself a little short? Myself, I'll spot for the opportunity to the owner of the firearm I'm shooting.

You're probably right....Better idea..."Will spot/coach for the highest bidder....I reserve the right to refuse service if I don't like the gun we'll be using"

Better?

Sounds like you had a great time down in Chattanooga....That was the last weekend the kid had before school started and he needed to be here, and I'm still nursing the sore right arm/elbow that I was at the nationals....Was hoping for a care package from Tennessee containing some Baclava from the City Cafe....Midsouth Classic is but a month away...will be good to see everyone again...Did I hear right, El Puma is coming this year?

Commander Kitty,
In the eye of TS Fay right now, did a walk of the acre just before sunrise, only 5.7" of rain, neighbors pool is being intruded by flood waters. I'm still fine, the goose area is flooded but it'll take at least twice the rain for it to get my driveway.
Much better price demands on the spotting, seems as though in demand spotters are overworked and underpaid!!!LOL

As for the baklava, well I would blame Powding for eating your share of it, I saw him leaving with a slice of the b/cheesecake.

Yes, El Puma is planning on making Mid South, I will be using his rifle despite the color not matching my vest. Apparently he feels that he is the man to beat in the El Paso area now, so I guess I'll have to show him how to shoot his own rifle, if he is going to claim that fame.

Innocent,

Batten down the hatches when Fay really hits......From the weather talk here it sound like she's going back out to sea and regroup and head back in with a fury....Low pressure over Texas is pulling a lot of moisture into our area and we're expecting heavy rains today and tomorrow....Already too wet, grass has revived and will require mowing again....

We need to get a line on Innocent and El Puma using the same gun....How many targets are you going to give him to make it fair??
