Aussie Team

G'Day All
This year I applied to our National Association for funding for a team to attend Ridgway. Thanks to the board they have approved the team plus one Junior. They are coming over for the Smallbore Matches with one remaining for High power. I will not be with them but a member of the National Board will as team manager. The team consists of Mal Smith, Dann Suthern and Matthew Everingham. The Junior is a very talented girl by the name of Alice Styles. She missed out on Olympic selection for Air Rifle by one point this year, so hopefully she will perform well and you'll keep her so some of us old buggers can get a win.
Beware of Mal as he will not stop telling jokes and yarns and is just a good bloke.
I've watched Dann compete in different events since he was a young'n and he now has some national championship wins under his belt and also has entered the Australian Silhouette Hall of Fame (with Mal). Regardless of his wins he like Mal still remains a ordinary sort of bloke.
Matthew most of you would know from his previous vist where he finished in the placings.
I wish everyone well for the NRA Nationals and I hope our team does well. But mainly I hope their attendance promotes more inter country participation. It might be worthwhile talking to Kaye the team manager about the Pacific Regional Shooting Championships we are hosting this year.

Now all you Pennsylvania Dutch make sure the Aussie team get to try Scrapple and Shoofly Pie.
I must admit that I don't miss Scrapple but my mother did teach my wife how to make Shoofly Pie.

Tbone....good luck, I've had a few trying to get my Irish shirts that I've collected over the years. Did manage to get one Don E's gold 22 bullets though.
Besides you need an Orange shirt first!
