Anschutz magazine followers?

Post by edgerat »

Does anyone know a retailer that sells the springs and followers for the magazine? I received 4 factory magazines with my 1700 from Evelio's friend and all four of the followers are broken. they still work but they are hard to get the 5th round loaded.
Thanks,
isaac

You might have checked this already, but are you sure they're in there the right way? If there's an obviously broken piece that's one thing, but he might have taken them out to clean the magazine and put them back in incorrectly.

All four of the annie mags rattled when you would shake them and then two of them wouldn't load all 5rds. I took them apart and noted that the lower ears on the front of the follower were all broken off on all four magazines and I now have 8 little triangle red pieces sitting on the coffee table :)

Yep.. sounds broken.. I forgot about the factory Anschutz mags having plastic followers. I've been using the $10 Savage magazines with steel followers from Brownells that seem to work better and don't stick out as much. I was wondering how he had broken four steel followers. :)

Could you please give us a stock number or link on these? Would it be the 533-400-355?

Thanks,
