Did Bushnell ever install a full 1 moa dot from the custom shop? I have one, and they told me on the phone that they never offered it. I am the original owner, and I sent it in for the dot, but I don't know what size I requested.
I have a second scope that I had done recently, and it is a true 1/2 dot. I tested both on grid paper at 100 yards, one displaces 1 inch exactly, and the other 1/2 inch exactly. I was just curious if the 1 moa dot was a mistake. I actually like the bigger dot. Thanks.

Turn your 8-32 down to 16X and it should be ~ 1 MOA?

What power are you measuring the dot on to get 1MOA? If it's not full power (1/4 or 1/2 is the only 2 options I am aware of) then it's just a product of what 'focal plane' the reticle was installed in. I have never heard of a Bushnell '1st focal plane' reticle, but anything is possible I guess.

This factor (substention changes in the reticle when installed in '2nd' focal plane) is the reasons there are 'range finding' duplex reticles, and mil-dot varaiable power scopes only work on one power....

I am looking at the the area the dot covers at 100 yards on 32 power on both scopes.
