I hate to get into the middle of someone else's fight especially when I have enough trouble of my own making to take care of, but man, Marvin what has gotten into you of late? You've verbally attacked several folks who post on this board for no other reason than their "real" name hasn't been listed in their tag line (your's is not, by the way) or that they may have strong and/or colorful personalities that you may not like. I truly enjoyed your hospitality when you entertained us in your home and shop and have enjoyed the times that I've been to the Conard Cup, a match that you are strongly identified with. I have also enjoyed the company of David McLemore, Chicken George Rhode, James Culpepper, Innocent Mary Watkins and her son Coates, Troy Lawton Cathy Winstead-Severin and her brother and dad, Dave Imas, Jared Perry, Dennis Dadian, Chuck Deeson, Ed Kessey, Tony Tello, and on and on and on....literally hundreds of silhouette shooters of all classifications from all over the country and several parts of the world. All these folks are different from one another as is every silhouette shooter in the country. We are a diverse and colorful group, one of the things that makes this sport so interesting.

Making general attacks on folks on this board is your right, I guess, but is hardly necessary and certainly not in the best interests of promoting our sport. In your case, it is especially damaging because you have rightfully earned such a high level of respect from shooters from all across the country because of superb craftsmanship of your work and the excellence of the rifles you build. It can't be good for the image of the Conard Cup, which is rightfully one of the most highly respected events in our sport, when a person such as yourself, one who is strongly identified with both the Cup and the region in general takes such a negative position and posts such hostile things as you have been posting as of late. I think I speak fairly for most folks when I say that I am uninterested in spending money to attend an event that is closely associated with someone who has become somewhat of a loose cannon and brings a cloud of negativity to the sport.

Okay, I've had my say Marvin. Blast away at me with your best if you want. I've been around a while and have thick skin and can take your best shot. But why don't you consider easing up a bit on those who may be newer to the sport and have thinner skin.

Jumping full on Seamus O'Grady for his question about inserting the clip for one, the general, sarcastic backhanded remarks about Evelio, McLemore, and several others who seemed to have stirred your name fetish thing you have going on, and the bullying that you are doing as though you are some self appointed keeper of the integrity of the sport......Offended is not really the word I would use to describe my feelings, more like irritation.....These guys have done nothing to you that I know of, if they have take it up with them in a more specific manner I'm sure they would all prefer that.

I really did not mean to start this crap, when I asked " Marv." to be more friendly, and constructive in his postings.
By looking at the pictures in the Clubhouse, it looks like you all really had a good time at the Conard cup last year ( which I'been there ) and supposibly are good friends, so why not stop all this bullshit, and lets get back to shooting talk !!!!!!
