Jared Perry

Post by dave imas »

I posting an email I just received from Dennis Dadian about Jared Perry's performance over the last 3 months...

"Lordy Lordy guess who shot another 40? Jared Perry that's who. Jared shot his third consecutive 40 today at the Coalinga Rifle Club with his SB hunting rifle. That's right, his third consecutive 40 in three months at Coalinga. January 40, February 40, and again today. What a way to end the quarter."

No need to really say anything more than "Holy Shit!"

The boy can shoot!!!!!!!!!!

I thought I would never, ever post here again, simply because the Arkansas regulars just seem to rule up in here...But way to go Jared Perry...Imagine that, with that with a cheap ass Remington 581....

At the risk of "ruling up in here" whatever that means, Marvin....Congratulations, Jared. Class act and a great shooter.

Damn.. Thats some serious consistence.. The incredible shooting speaks for itself. Guess he needs to find a new sport now, three 40's in a row must make things boring fast :P Congrats Jared, outstanding!

Ah, a thread with different shooters! I'll join in.

Yup, I recall last year at Pe Ell. After some part of his gun blew up day one, scope I assume, he borrowed a gun and shot a 38 and then a 39 on day two! No excitement, no cursing, no alibi, no drama. Quietly borrows another gun day two. After what would have been a fustrating day 1 for most of us, knowing mising 8 chickens kinda puts you out of anything. He keeps his head in the game and roars back with a 38 and 39! One one else shot a 77 either day!

That my friends, is a true competitor. WOW!

I remember watching Jared shoot at the Conrad Cup last year and being really amazed at how steady and still Jared is when he shoots. I watched the end of his barrel and it looked like there was some magical force just holding it in one place, no movement at all. After the match I asked him what he did to get so steady and still and with a smile on his face said "nothing really, I've just been shooting since I was nine." Damm you dad why didn't you put a rifle in my hand earlier. Can't wait to see him shoot this year.
