5018 Trigger on 1712

Post by Hoser »

Is it possible to mod a 5018/5071 trigger to get it to work on a 1712?

Usually shooting scores right in class, too bad its the class below my classification!

Can be / has been done. Ask Chuck (CWDGUN) about his, I think it has worked well.

But you need to do all the $ math before you do it...

Are you rebarreling? If so, then the 100% fast math is that it's more expensive to hang that trigger on a 17XX action as opposed to starting w/ a 54.18...

Last price I heard of was $200 + the cost of the trigger.

Good news.

5018s are way up these days. I bought a new 5071 for a prone rifle a while back for $320.

I have several 5018s laying around.

TRIGGER

George, HOSER just got one of the top of the line CUSTOM 1712 conversion just like Quin's, but he wants a few ounce trigger and a flat blade aka 54.18, no bueno for hunter class.
