newer than new

Post by Koldkut »

Hi, new guy here. I was turned on to this site from some bubba living down south. I havn't gotten a good gun yet, but I'm tired of slinging lead, I want to learn to shoot offhand and get good at it. Currently a Ruger 10/22 mag and a Savage 17HMR sit in my gunsafe, soon to be replaced by a recommended CZ 425 American. Just wanted to stop in and say hi.

yeah, it does.....I'll just let him either claim to know me, or leave this one alone...

I'm not so sure that anyone would want to claim a "wet behind the ears" wanna be smallbore shooter.

John,

That there be one of my new pups, sure can thump whistle pigs, thought steel pigs, on his hind feet might be more of a sport..........he has no idea what he has stepped into.

Chick,

Scare him up a CZ 452 americana on the cheap, maybe he will return the favor with a highly guided whistle pig shoot in colerado.

koldkut,

Now you have been formally introduced, now get out there and practice.

Thanks, practice means spending some of that expensive crap. Told a few of my co-workers that shoot what I was spending to feed the .17 and their jaws dropped in horror saying that there was no way that any regular rimfire ammunition was that expensive. All in all, I've been looking at the setup for these things. If I can the exact sizes, I can get all the silhouettes cut out on a friends CNC plasma table and can fabricate a mount. I guess a CAD drawing will be in order for the experts approval on this board...

I'll get on that paper, Dawg had a link to some paper targets....

Dawg, I updated my profile so everyone can see my email now. The other Olive garden in town has better food, I thought my pasta was overcooked.
