A little Off Topic (OT) but revelant to selling on-line
While selling on-line I have ran into the Money scam a number of times where an offer to arrange "local pick up" with overnighted 'certified funds' are offered. I recently came up with this reply, and I think it will protect you 100% from being ripped off!
My reply:
Pick up? from a .uk address? I live in Arkansas, you are welcome to come pick up. I will meet you at a bank where funds can be generated I.e. Cash. Then the rifle can be taken possession of. As I do with all CASH dealings I want to make sure it is know for safety of both parties that I have a CCW permit and carry a .357 Mag with a laser for efficiency. If you're OK with that up-front, than it's available for pick up.
