But its a great book and I found it worth the money. If there is a range by you that they have kids shooting 3 Position they may have a club copy you can borrow or look at.

If it saves you 3 bricks of ammo, just trying to figure out something it is more than worth it and it will. This is also a great book for postions "The New Position Rifle Shooting: A How-To Text For Shooters And Coaches".

JB, no problem figuring out who you are... the one trying to manage MCALICE money.

As for Jerry and the new flash/math problem, I intend to live to be a 100 so do the reverse math.

I forgot to mention how I did this weekend. I fired 20 shots at each target:

Target 1 - 2 bulls, 6 inner ring (three very close to center dot), 12 outer ring
Target 2 - 0 bulls, 5 inner ring, 13 outer ring, 2 outside outer ring
Target 3 - 0 bulls, 0 inner ring, 14 outer ring, 6 outside outer ring
Target 4 - 0 bulls, 5 inner ring, 10 outer ring, 5 outside outer ring

When I started shooting the 3rd target, I remember thinking about having to shoot 20 more rounds, and I think that made me start mentally feeling the left shoulder.

What target are you using, and I'm imagining your shooting at standard animal distances?

I'm shooting at 50 yards to work on my hold and stance, and I do a bit better every week. The week before, I only had 10 or so in the inner (white) ring.

The squares are 1-inch, center dot is .75-inch, inner ring is 2.5 inch, and the outer orange ring is 6 inches. Here's a pic (the group on this image was created from the bench, of course):
