CZ 452 Scope Mount

Post by Irish764 »

Any ideas on how to mount a scope to my CZ 452 Lux? The Weaver rings that have worked on everything else are too wide for the built in rail on the CZ. Open to ideas/suggestions/guidance.

Eric Brooks is always a good place to start for C452. I was going to suggest BKL rings as another good place.

I was using BKL's on my Silo, but recently switched to an old set of B-Squares. They got the scope lower for a better cheekweld (for me).

Eric's a good go-to for the weaver adapters.
Usually shooting scores right in class, too bad its the class below my classification!

Well....it's been nearly a month and I haven't seen a thing from Eric. I've e-mailed for a status report and still....nothing.

Any other suggestions? I'm about to write this purchase off as a "Lesson Learned"....

On the rimfire forum many seem to have the same problems with him, keep bugging him. I feel the same way about BLK Rings right now, placed and order 3 months ago, have the order # and kepp sending them emails and notes and can't even get a reply.

Ring mounts

I installed the 257 BKL rings on my CZ model 452 silhouette, am using a Leupold 6x18x40 target scope with dot, works fine.

I put the BKL 558 riser with some Burris Signature Zee high rings and shim inserts on my 452 lux. I am currently running a Weaver KT-15 and was previously running a Tasco 10-40x50mm and they both fit with plenty of clearance and it keeps me under the 1.5" clearance limit for Hunter class.
