Welcome to Chokeville, population: me...
I still need both pigs and rams for my grand slam in smallbore standard rifle. At the Machias match on Sunday, I breezed through the first 9 pigs and missed the 10th one through the opening right under the belly. That sucked a lot... and it got worse when I did the same thing on rams. Ugh... I gotta figure out how to keep my head straight and execute well when I get excited.
Any suggestions?

Knowing how and doing are two different things. Just ignore everything before and everything after and focus on that moment alone.
At out last match, I had seven pigs and had to call the range cold when a tractor passed just behind the berm. Dunno why he had to mow right then, but there he was, and of course I missed number eight when we went back hot, then went on to pop nine and ten. #%$*

You are in the same club as everyone else that has ever picked up a Silhouette rifle, however it's outcome depends on you and you alone. If you look at it like you didn't finish what you started out to do and you keep telling yourself that you can do it, and keep practicing with that in mind, you will up your chances next time! You stated that all you need is pigs and sheep, you have already have your Turkeys, if you can hit 10 Turkeys, you can hit 10 Sheep or Chickens! If you want it bad enough it won't matter how hard your knees are shaking, how big of a puddle your standing in or anything else. What are you going to do?
