I posted a plea for visiting High Power shooters a couple of months ago. Hat Creek Rifle and Pistol Club had a match scheduled for July 21st. Low turnout would doom further scheduled matches. Well, we had seven shooters, four club members and three visitors from the Reno Nv area. Our club President has commited to holding matches next year. If you have any interest in shooting High Power in Northeast CA watch the Hat Creek Rifle and Pistol Club website for schedules. Visiting shooters will be welcomed. As an aside, the match was won by one of our own Cowboy Lever Action master class shooters, using an iron sighted Model 95 Winchester in 30-40 Krag.
