that long winded guy from out west.I would like to have heard from these two on these cheater guns.I have one & I still can't see how it can be done,& for the life of me why anyone would want one set up like that is behond me.Man going from a two # twigger to a 7oz one all in one pull would drive nuts. speed2

speed2, your post is a little confusing to me. The way a two stage trigger works is; The first stage you pull (take-up) about 1.55 lbs and then on the second stage you pull (take up) the remaining 0.65 lbs. It is done with a cam on the trigger so you can more easily feel the differency between the two stages. If you have a good single stage trigger you can do the same thing by taking up the first 1.55 lbs of the trigger and then finishing the shot by taking up the remaining 0.65 lbs. The difference is it is a little easier to do with a two stage trigger with the cam. The above weights are assuming a 70%/30% split on the stages. I hope that answers your question because I'm not too sure what your question was. I beleive there are some shooters out there who have a two stage trigger and just pull through like it was a single stage, not realizing how the thing works.
