Rem 700 rings and base

More expensive to feed, but worth it.

Rem 700 rings and base

Post by jbolt »

Currently I have a set of Burris Signature double dovetail rings on my Rem 700 7-08 hunter. I really like the Signature rings for the ability to adjust the scope and the non marring inserts but even with their high rings it is a little too low fer me. I would like to get the scope up higher and was wondering what others were using.

Thanks,

J~

jbolt, I had to do the same thing to one of my 700's when it was in an H-S thumb hole silhouette stock. I ended up making these risers to be used with Burris medium Zee Rings to get the scope up higher. They are aluminum for light weight and will work with any Weaver style rings. I even put in "iron sight windows" just in case your scope fogs up during a match. :D The risers added 1.100 inches to the ring height. I don't use them anymore and you are welcome to them if you can make use of them.
