Nosler Accubond

Anybody ever use Nosler Accubond on any kind of animal, preferably Deer?

Jim, we have taken mulies and elk with .30 cal. Nosler ballistic tip in 165 and 180gr. weights ever since they were introduced. All recovered bullets performed as expected, good weight retention with no core separation at all. The Accubond version has a thicker jacket in the lower shank and some sort of bonding technique but all else is nearly identicle construction as the B-tip.
No reason it shouldn't perform every bit as good or better than a B-tip.

They perform very well. Alot more consistent than ballistic tips. They hold their weight alot better at higher velocities than BT's.

I used them in my 6.8x43 AR rifles this last deer season. 100grain accubond going 2800fps. I killed 19 from 42-357 yards. I never recovered a bullet.

In a 7mm mag at close ranges they don't come apart like the BT's.

I'm not a big fan of Ballistic Tips, can't find any Partitions around here, or Midway or Sinclair. No I don't need to see any pictures, if you say they work, they do. Thanks.

I just finished developing a good load for my.260 hunting rifle with these bullets in (obviously) 6.5mm caliber, 130 grains.
What caliber are you considering? Send me a PM if its a .260 Rem.
