More Ridgway memories....
Here's a photo of the bluegrass band Twitchy Fingers on break in front of the Comfort Inn. L-R, Larry Cole, Loren Peter, Hambone, Byron, and William Zander. Trust me, there was more tailgating going on in this parking lot than at a Steeler's game.

Wow, those boys from Washington should go to a tanning booth and get their legs a wee tad more tanned before wearing shorts in PA!!!

Here is a not so great pic of some great shooters. This is while we were waiting for the results on the last day. Clockwise L-R, Eric Boos, Dennis Martinen, Larry Cole, Larry Steiner, William Zander, and the back of Byron.

Re: More Ridgway memories....
Thanks Bob, I don't have too many left, I guess I was too busy having fun. Here's a couple shots of the line at the smallbore match. the first one is half the line (you can see both big and mini kitties) and the second is from the rear. I almost forgot to mention the cute cheerleaders from the local high school who did a great job scoring.. I've never shot in such wind, intermittent bursts where time management was key. The day I left it was 40 degrees in the morning, a real nice change from here.

Thanks, and it ain't that easy for an old two fingered hippie like me.. Here's another one: One of the best shooters and cooks I know, the legendary Jerry Tureau. Notice how they caged the cajun and his concoction. He also did crossfire with that 60X power scope again, missed his first three turkeys on his first bank and then promptly picked off the last two. On the second bank. BTW, Byron was spotting him.

Bone...classic shot of Paw Paw Tureau and very classic description of a Tureau 60 power crossfire. The food was his usual GREAT. Byron managed to keep the same thing from happening the next day, good job spotting Byron.

Jerry seems to do that on Turkeys more often than not. Probably because they all look the same
What did he cook?
Thanks for the pics Hambone. Will Twitchy Fingers be playing at the House of Bluegrass anytime soon?

Chango...welcome to the rifle anytime. Thanks to Enrique senior for the bottle of Tequila, still enjoying it. Congrats on your shooting.
Dee, does it really mater what Tureau cooks, I have eaten some of his food at nearly every nationals since 2000 and it is always good.
Hammy, we have to get you shooting HP as well.

Sorry Dee, we have disbanded due to rampant tabloid reports of an incident between two of our jug players and one of the roadies..

Innocent- No it doesn't matter what he cooked and I am sure everyone thought it was good eats. As a fellow Cajun that cooks myself I was just curious. My guess would be Jambalaya, I know it wasn't Turkey!
Although it was probably cool enough to eat some Gumbo without sweating to death in PA.
I wonder how a spicy alligator and turtle sauce piquante would go over with the silhouette crowd.
