What's goin' on (or goin' to go on) in Chattanooga?
Don’t forget the June match at Chattanooga is this Sunday, 20 June. The range will be open by 11 am. Good time to get your last practice before Nationals. I predict warm, balmy weather, great shooting conditions and as a bonus, there will be Birthday cake to go with lunch. All part of the continuing Hospitality afforded by us slow movin’ slow talkin’ Grit Eatin’ Southern Match Directors.
While I got your attention, REMEMBER the 2010 Tennessee Smallbore Rifle Silhouette State Championships being held on 21 August at the Chattanooga Rifle Club in Harrison Tennessee. Besides the great camaraderie, shootin’, target setters, eatin’, story tellin’ and awards, I got something special. While at the NRA meetings in Charlotte last month, Sightron donated a Sll BIG SKY, 6-24x42 Silhouette scope which will go home with one of the competitors at the match. Everyone has a chance. Limited to 48 shooters so beat the crowd and sign up now.

Probably not, unless I can get the dies loose from this crew out west...we shall see. El Puma has been working hard on tryiung to determine some health issues with Don so the dies haven't appeared yet and I do not have enough ammo stashed.

Heading to Nationals for a few days. Don’t expect to do much good in the shooting part of it, being I have only shot 6 small-bore matches in the past 2 years, but the hospitality of the Ridgway bunch makes it all worth while.
Don’t fret yourself because there is plenty of room in my mailbox for all your applications to the Tennessee Championships in August. Bet you can’t run it over…Go ahead and send them in now. Guarantee getting your 2010 Tennessee souvenir shirt, not to mention all the fun you will have.
I will have the laptop if you need a program emailed to you. Just ask: [email protected]
