Sunshine Classic
I am making plans with Big Dawg Culpepper for Jacksonville to attend the first party of the year. I know that Innocent and her Earring Boy are planning on helping Chuck along with Halfreaux and Mongo. The food will be excellent as usual and the prizes above par as I have seen what Chuck accomplished at the SHOT Show.
I would like to know who is planning on attending so I can prepare to party properly!

I he is not grounded by then, he will be with us. We had a little talk and I explained to him what he can and what he needs to do. I hope I did not get it mixed up.jneihouse wrote:PaPa Bear,

I'm not to sure about the rebels down south.
They had no idea about you movie reference earlier and they think Mordecai is your real name.
Maybe if we got some cool bear names people would be more excited about us coming to Jacksonville.

We're excited to have you guys coming down....We always embrace our brethren from the north...Couple of things to help get you ready...I'm not to sure about the rebels down south.
They had no idea about you movie reference earlier and they think Mordecai is your real name.
Bring your heavy coats and carharts....there won't be a wood burning stove a blazin' away behind the firing line.....Wind chill at night that time of year can get down to 70 or so....
Plan to visit the beach...I visited your's last year while at the Conard Cup....Got soaked to the bone and chased by a Great White (really....) and nearly suffered from hypothermia.....Don't be alarmed at what you see at the beach down here....Those are called bikinis and they wear them all the time down here on the beach....granted, some shouldn't but they do anyway......
And that big yellow ball thingy up in the sky?? It's called the sun and you'll probably see a year's worth while you're down in Fla....
And don't pet the jellyfish or the McManatees.....The jellyfish are the squishy things that wash ashore on the aforementioned beach.....The McManatee is known for his hairy back and white rear end....often seen cavorting in the surf...
And when you order at the restaurants be sure to try to emulate the native southern drawl......the locals will think you're a hoot and they like this better than a tip....especially the waitresses who bring you your food.....And the guys who work in the convenience stores and what have you all like to be called Bubba or Gomer....as in "Hey Bubba, where's the grits"....the really large guys with the really large red necks especially like you to call them Bubba and flirt with their girlfriends, they take it as a compliment....
And it wouldn't hurt to brush up on a few phrases that you can drop in casual conversation like "Prettier than a speckled pup"......If you're unsure of usage just read anything by Jeff Foxworthy and you will be in good shape...
Nicknames are cool, but you need a mascot, like Spottin Kitty or Waldorf...But not quite as rascally as Waldorf.......That little fellas' a hound.Maybe if we got some cool bear names people would be more excited about us coming to Jacksonville.
Looking forward to seeing you guys.
