Kowa spotting scope
Kowa 822M spotting scope, with 27X long eye relief eyepiece (stright eyepiece) and scope cover, it has the extendable eye shade and of course is an 82mm lens.
This scope is brand new, my wife gave it to me for Christmas but I needed a smaller backpacking scope so this one is up for sale.
$750. for the scope body, eyepiece and scope cover. This is over $300 less than was paid for it.
Picture available by e-mail.
Buy this scope - help save a marriage.
Thanks, Jim

What is going on with the 1712? A Pharr stock maybe?
I prefer straight eyepiece scopes, the only situation I prefer an angled eyepiece in is for prone shooting. The angle eyepiece doesn't work well at all for me if I am spotting becuase my neck gets tired from being bent over in order to look down the eyepiece. They are even worse for a backpacking / hunting scope because to me it is unnatural to be looking down when you are trying to find something that is more or less out in front of you.
How is the shooting going - did the 1712 pick up some points for you?
